1. Importance of your privacy

At Help to Help your privacy is of great importance to us and we strive to handle and protect your personal information in the best way possible. Therefore it is essential for us that you understand what personal information it is that we collect, and why.  

We use your data to provide and improve the funding operation, hereafter referred to as the "Service". By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. The Privacy Policy on this page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data. Information about how to contact us is available at the end of this policy.

2. About us and our services

Help to Help accepts monetary donations from individuals, organisations, companies, government authorities, other institutions, and via established corporate partnerships hereafter referred to as “Donors”.

Help to Help is responsible for ensuring that the funds raised are used to fulfil the vision, mission and objectives of the organisation in accordance with the organisation’s bye-laws and constitution:

“Help to Help Foundation, hereafter called “the Foundation”, works to create positive development in developing countries by providing scholarship grants for, and/or offering loans to, post-secondary studies for young students. The Foundation may use funds to support other purposes enabling education for youth. Furthermore, the Foundation shall foster cooperation between students and the labour market and provide help and support on issues regarding entrepreneurship and professional life. To an appropriate extent, the Foundation can assist companies to recruit students from Help Help’s network. Activities shall be conducted in such a way that funds raised from donors are used to fulfil these objectives. The Foundation is politically and religiously independent.”

We offer Donors and other stakeholders (the Users) to use our website, as a part of the Service, to get information about Help to Help’s work and our students (the “Beneficiaries”), to subscribe to our newsletter, sign up for events, and to make donations via so-called crowdfunding, purchasing gift cards, making a monthly donation or a general donation.

Help to Help is revised by the Swedish Fundraising Control and Länsstyrelsen (The County Administrative Board) in Stockholm. Read more about their regulations and control by clicking on each name above.

3. The data we collect

We collect Personal Data in the following ways:
While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable data, (Personal Data) information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personal Data is data that you yourself provide us with: If you make a crowdfunding donation, a monthly donation, activate a gift card or sign up for a newsletter, we collect name, telephone number and email address. If you order a giftcard to be sent home we also collect your postal address. In case you sign up for an event we may collect food preferences. We collect information on which events you have attended, publications received and if you have made special requests for program information. If you sign up to take part in a survey or volunteer engagement we collect the provided information - For example age, profession, gender, employer. We also collect information provided by you in the form of comments and suggestions for improvements.

Usage Data
Usage Data is data collected automatically either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).This Usage Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other forms of diagnostic data. When you use our Service we will save your IP address apart from the Personal Data you yourself provide us with.

Help to Help use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our Service and hold certain information. A cookie is a small piece of text sent to your browser by a website you visit. It helps the website to remember information about your visit, like your preferred language and other settings. For example, Cookies helps the website to remember if you have added a student donation until you continue to the check out and complete the donation payment. That can make your next visit easier and the site more useful to you. This also means that if you do not accept Cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Service. 4. Use of data

Help to Help uses the collected data for various purposes
- To provide and maintain our Service
- To notify you about changes to our Service
- To allow you to participate in interactive features of our Service when you choose to do so.
- To administrate your donation or order.
- To provide customer support.
- To gather analysis or valuable information so that we can improve our Service and our communication and to fulfill our legal duties.
- To monitor the usage of our Service.
- To detect, prevent and address technical issues.
- To provide you with news, special offers and general information about other goods, services and events which we offer that are similar to those that you have already purchased or enquired about unless you have opted not to receive such information.

5. Personal Data and Service Providers

Help to Help will not share any personal information about you with any person or organization except:

(i) as authorized by you, (ii) in connection with providing various products and/or services to you. Help to Help may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service ("Service Providers"), to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used. These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose. (iii) To the extent you make any use of Help to Help’s Service, (iv) as may be required by law or court order, or (v) as otherwise set forth herein. We only disclose your data as described in this Privacy Policy. Help to Help does not and will not sell personal information about our users and customers.

Behavioral Remarketing
Help to Help may use remarketing services to advertise on third party websites to you after you visited our Service. We and our third-party vendors use Cookies to inform, optimize and serve ads based on your past visits to our Service. Google AdWords remarketing service is provided by Google Inc. You can opt-out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising, and customize the Google Display Network ads by visiting the Google Ads Settings page. Disclosure for Law Enforcement 
Under certain circumstances, Help to Help may be required to disclose your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency).

Legal Requirements
Help to Help may disclose your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: Comply with a legal obligation, protect and defend the rights or property of Help to Help To prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service, protect the personal safety of users of the Service or the public, protect against legal liability.

6. Transfer of data

Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to, and maintained on,  computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction. If you are located outside Sweden and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to Sweden and process it there.

Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer. Help to Help will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information.

7. Security and Retention of Personal Data

While no system is completely secure, Help to Help takes precautionary measures to help prevent personal information about you from loss, theft, misuse and unauthorised access. Help to Help will retain your Personal Data only for as long we deem it necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. Help to Help will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Service, or we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods. 8. Your Rights

Help to Help aims to take reasonable steps to allow you to correct, alter, delete, or limit the use of your Personal Data. In certain circumstances, you have the right to: Access and receive a copy of the Personal Data we hold about you, Alter any Personal Data held about you that is inaccurate, Request the deletion of Personal Data held about you.

To access and receive a copy of the Personal Data we hold: You have the right to get a transcript of the personal information Help to Help holds about you free of charge. You can request to obtain a copy of your Personal Data by sending us a signed written request to through the contact details stated under “Contact us” below. Should you demand a second transcript within 12 months from your previous request, we could ask for a fee to cover the costs related to administering your request.

To alter any Personal Data held about you that is inaccurate: Whenever made possible, you can alter your Personal Data directly by contacting us. You can opt out of receiving newsletters and marketing communications from Help to Help by following the instructions included in any email sent to you via the “Unsubscribe” tab. We respect your choice, and we will stop sending you informative and/or promotional emails once you unsubscribe. Please note, regardless of your communication settings, we will continue to communicate with you regarding changes to terms and conditions, policy updates, service interruptions, data breaches or other significant information about our Services.

We rely on you to ensure that your personal information is complete, accurate and up to date. Please do inform us of any changes in your Personal Data by contacting info@helptohelp.se. We will respond to your request as soon as possible but certainly within 30 days.

To request the deletion of Personal Data held about you: For purposes of clarity, you are entitled to terminate your subscription to our Services, such as a monthly donation or newsletter, at any time, at what point all information connected to your account will either be deleted or anonymised. However, binding legal requirements may require that we store certain information for various periods of time. In order to comply with these regulations, we may be unable to delete information from our databases. You may at any time request to be erased from Help to Help’s registers and databases by contacting us via details stated under “Contact us” below. Should you wish so, we will delete all contact information to you.

Where we are using your personal information on the basis of your consent, you are entitled to withdraw that consent at any time. Moreover, where we process your personal information based on legitimate interest or the public interest, you have the right to object at any time to that use of your personal information.

9. Miscellaneous

Changes or updates to the Privacy Policy
Help to Help may from time to time change this Policy, for example to reflect changes in the Services or regulatory requirements. However, if this Policy is changed in a material, adverse way, Help to Help will post a notice advising of such change at the beginning of this Policy and on this site's home page. We encourage you to regularly review this Privacy Policy to learn more how Help to Help is using and protecting your data.

Business Transfer
We may, in the future, sell or otherwise transfer some or all of our assets to a third party. Your personally identifiable information and other information we obtain from you via the Service may be disclosed to any potential or actual third party purchasers of such assets and may be among the assets transferred.

Children’s privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Children has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

In order to use our Service one must be 18 years and above and/or commit to entering into an agreement with Help to Help by accepting this policy.

Help to Help is committed to handle any request, complaint or concern that you may have about our use of your personal information in a fair and transparent way. If, however, you believe that we have not been able to assist with your complaint or concern, you may have the right to file a complaint with the data protection authority in your country (if one exists in your country) or supervisory authority.
