BACKGROUND
My name is Selina, and we are a total of six children in our family. I live with my sister, since our mother died in 2016. I started my primary education in 2007 up to 2013, and I then joined secondary education from 2014 up to 2017. Then, after I completed form four at 2020, I joined Bulongwa Health Science Institute in clinical dentistry.
WHY
I chose this field of studies because many people in society are suffering from health problems. Through my studies I will be able to help the society on how they can protect their body from different diseases, educate them on how different bad culture can affect their health - such as widal inheritance, or female genitalmutilation. My dream after I have completed my studies is to become a doctor, since through that profession, I will be able to help my society. Also, I can help people on how they can protect their health, and moreover I can also educate people on how various aspects can affect their health.
INTERESTS
Besides my studies I like to play netball. Me and my friends go to play netball, and that enables to be in good shape physically and mentally.

Q: How can I trust Selina Kimingo is a real student?

A: Selina Kimingo has applied for a scholarship from Help to Help and was granted one. We have reviewed the written application and conducted a thorough interview with Selina Kimingo . We have also double-checked the given identity with Bulongwa Health Science Institute. We now and then also do home-visits and met with a majority of our students.

Q: If I donate, what happens with my donation?

A: Each semester, Help to Help pay school fees for our students. We reserve the right to only pay school fees for students who live up to the agreed terms and conditions for the scholarship which includes submitting grades in time, good academic perform and continuous communication with Help to Help among other things. The payments are done directly to each university. Once payments are done, we demand the universities to send us official receipts.
