BACKGROUND
I grew up in a single parent family, living with mother only. She is working with crop cultivation.
WHY
I did choose Bsc. Food Science and Technology as my field of study,in order to understand different ways of harvesting, processing, preserving and storage so as to improve the quality and shelf life of food products. I will contribute to the society through my future profession by educating my society members on how to use those mentioned ways above, so as to avoid post harvest loss of products. The ways will also help the society to ensure food security in their lives. My dream job is to be a food scientist, assuring the quality and safety of food products. This is especially during harvesting, processing, preserving and storing. Also in developing new products using different advanced processing ways.
INTERESTS
Now, besides my studies i'm very interested in doing hair dressing. Although i haven't mastered all the styles, but i can do braiding such as box braids and twist braids, natural hair cornrows and crochet. I also do hair conditioning, hair blow-drying and making braid hair pins.

Help to Help has impacted my life very positively, as it couldn't be easy for me to pay school fees on my last year, if the organisation couldn't hold my hand. I will do small businesses if I won't get any job based on my carrier (food technologist). As a graduate, I'm intended to add value to the community on easy, accessible and safe ways to reduce post-harvest loss along the food chain and thus will promote food security. Those ways are drying, salting, fermentation, boiling, frying (e.g., sardines, fishes, meat), roasting. These will preserve and extend the shelf life of the food and therefore they can be used when their seasons have passed. It has been a year of calmness and joyful to my studies since you held my hand. I didn't experience any complications regarding school fees, my studies were super. I have no more words than saying THANK YOU VERY MUCH my donors and may GOD bless you very much and fill you where you poured. Thank you.

We went to visit the children with mental and physical disability at AMAN centre in Morogoro, bringing them with items for daily use, and playing with them. We conducted the outreach there, because most of the children there, according to the center's history, were abandoned by there parents due to disability, so we felt honoured to go there to show them that out there in the society they are still considered as "human beings". The outreach contributes much to the society, as first of all when we reach there the children as well as the workers were very happy to see us. Thus i can say, it brings the children a feeling of being considered to the society , as the children might feel like " kumbe we are also human!". It also reduce the budget to the center for buying the children's daily items, because we brought them some.
