BACKGROUND
My parents have three children, and I am the second born. My parents are peasants and I was born and raised in the Rujewa-Mbarali district-Mbeya region. I studied my primary and secondary education in public schools, where the education was free. I completed my lower secondary school at Rujewa secondary school. Now, I am a university student in my first year.
WHY
I chose this field of studies in order to impact health care and contribute to the improvement of human health in our society and around the world, by effectivize how patients are treated and lowering the cost of care through design of new equipment, repairs and the maintenance of old equipment in hospitals. My dream job is one where I can make a positive impact on people and help people to save their life. As a biomedical engineer, my purpose is to design new digital tools, software platforms and other hospital instruments. By doing this, I will lower the cost of treatment to patients, help them get treated and save lives.
INTERESTS
I enjoy learning more about the computer and reading novels, as well as I use some of my time to discuss different hospital equipments with members of the biomedical club, in order to widen our knowledge outside of classes.
