BACKGROUND
Our family is located in the Mubende district, Kassanda sub county, Kiganda county, Kigyomanyi parish, Nakidduduma village. Our house is roofed with iron sheets covered with mud around it. My parents are both peasants. I have a grandfather, a grandmother and six siblings. Four siblings are schooling, and two have dropped out to be a disc joker and a peasant. I sat P.7 and got a second grade, S.4 with a first grade and completed BCM and managed to get 12 points.
WHY Medicine & Health
I chose this field of study because I want to evaluate the role of medical laboratory science in the field of medicine and promote the cornerstone of medicine. I want to participate in the diagnostics of non communicable diseases like cancer, that is affecting my grandfather. I want to improve the diagnostic research conducted in the laboratory, perform analysis of different diagnostics and promote improvement in the health status of individuals in the community. To perform medical laboratory diagnostics and research infectious diseases. To promote preventative measures, cure and sensitisation on the aetiology and the course of an infection.
INTERESTS
I enjoy watching soccer and science fiction movies in addition to playing football. I also enjoy listening to science related news and reading novels which have an impact torwads my dream job.

I managed to conduct a research study in Rukungiri district about the prevalence of intimate partner violence and associated factors following partner disclosure among newly diagnosed HIV clients enrolled at PHC and submitted in the journal. As well I engaged with babies to comfort them and council them to give them hope. In the photo, I engaged one of the babies to have fun with them.

Q: How can I trust Eria Mugumba is a real student?

A: Eria Mugumba has applied for a scholarship from Help to Help and was granted one. We have reviewed the written application and conducted a thorough interview with Eria Mugumba . Q: If I donate, what happens with my donation?

A: Each semester, Help to Help pay school fees for our students. We reserve the right to only pay school fees for students who live up to the agreed terms and conditions for the scholarship which includes submitting grades in time, good academic perform and continuous communication with Help to Help among other things. The payments are done directly to each university. Once payments are done, we demand the universities to send us official receipts.

Q: Why does each student have their own fundraising profile?

A: We believe in a global "we" - our crowdfunding platform is a way for our students to express what societal issues they want to bring change to, and a way for our funders to learn and join their important causes by donating to their studies.
