BACKGROUND
I am the fifth born among eight siblings. Our father passed away in 2022, leaving our mother as the sole provider. While two of my siblings completed post-secondary education, the third is on track to graduate. We were raised in Kagongi Subcounty, Mbarara District, by our parents.
WHY
I chose civil engineering because I'm fascinated by how humans shape and interact with the world. It combines my interests in math, science, and creativity, allowing me to explore the relationship between people and the built environment. I appreciate its hands-on nature and the opportunities for collaboration to contribute to positive change. As a civil engineering student, I dream of contributing to impactful projects. My goal is to work on sustainable infrastructure—renewable energy, green buildings, water conservation, and efficient transportation systems. I aim to use my skills to make a meaningful difference in the world.
